Joaquina sees the many layers of the body, not just the physical. Are you ready for deeper healing? Schedule a session.
Approximately 20 years ago, Joaquina experienced a significant life-changing event. She dedicated herself entirely to the process of recovery, both for herself and for those around her. As part of her journey, she aimed to reconnect with her Native American roots. She underwent an 8-year apprenticeship under a Lakota Medicine Man, a student of Archie Fire Lame Deer. This path led to her initiation as a Medicine Woman and to studying the traditions of South America, where she grew up.
She moved on to complete the CranioSacral Therapy program at the Colorado School of Healing Arts. Her unwavering passion for Chinese Medicine and plants from an early age drove her to pursue a Master of Science degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine. She further expanded her knowledge by studying Functional Medicine to address the complex health issues of modern society effectively.
